I understand this was a common problem last night, and for most, it was fixed. My friend, however, is still dealing with the problem.
Is there a way to fix this, or is the best thing to do is wait?

Mine is still not working either!!! I've uninstalled/reinstalled and done a client fix but nothing is working to fix this problem, riot please help!

I was only able to see one friend and now I don't see anything. Just a black screen.
I still cannot accept or reject friend request. Even i don't have list of friends and i can't look for quests. All of right side in client have been empty since few days.
Just logged in to bump the fix. As others have stated there seem to be "two" clients..... the old league client and the new Riot Client. People have said to delete the Riot Client folder in the C drive (or which ever drive letter you have the game installed) but if you are like me, I didn't have that folder. If re-installing the game didn't work for you either, here's why:
If you go to C:\Users"yourwindowsaccountnamehere"\AppData\Roaming\League of Legends - you'll see the much talked about "Riot Client" folder there. Delete the whole folder. Then go to C drive or wherever game is installed and launch the league client, it will update the client to the new one.

If your login screen does not look like this your friends list will not work!!!!
