Delay when i left click on map to look/check on my team

I actively check my map whenever I play just to keep tabs on my team, my lane, and my teamfights. With the new update of league, including the new cursor update (which I love), there seems to be a good half second to one second delay when I try to click on my map to look around. Where, before, I would click and it would instantly take me to wherever I was clicking. This is mildly frustrating especially when I am in lane and trying to keep tabs. No idea what to do, I don't think that is something I will be able to fix myself.
