Delay when i left click on map to look/check on my team

Whenever I am in lane I always left click on my map to peek at the other lanes on my team to keep tabs on where everyone is and what everyone is up to. however after the new update with the new cursors, whenever I left click on the map, I must hold down my click for half a second to a second before it will actually peek at where I have clicked. before the update there was no delay and now that there is a delay, it throws off my whole laning process especially as jungle. I don't know if this a computer based problem or a client problem, but I just know that it wasn't there before the update. thank you for any help you can give!
