Same happened to me when playing Jinx.
I mean sure, it's a bug, but it's not gamebreaking. Doesn't require a hotfix, it makes for some good laughs.

Are you referring to the snapping when you click on the star? That's intended for this game mode, so that no one is overlapping one another. Each Star Guardian is 'snapped' into a spot when channeling!
