[Gameplay] GAMEBREAKING Orianna Combo Bug

I'm pretty sure this isn't intentional, and I thought it would have been patched by now. After playing Orianna about 3 or 4 times I'm absolutely sure this is seriously an unfair advantage. The thing is, it's a bit hard to explain but when watching Worlds you can see the bug happening.

Explanation: You use your Q to move your ball, say, to max range. While it's traveling you're spamming that W key in order to get it to hit your target when it gets there. So here's where the bug comes in. The W goes off in the Q's TARGET location before the Q even lands there. So what you have is a slow and AOE damage in an area where it shouldn't be happening so soon. Imagine Lux throwing her E, it explodes, and it damages everyone where it was targeted before it visually reaches there. When watching Faker use his ult near Raptors for that double catch with Bengi, it seems to have occurred with Orianna's ultimate as well.

Reproduction:

  1. Level up at least to level 2 and have a point in Q and W (you can level up to 6 and try with ult too, but I haven't noticed it as strongly as W)
  2. Throw your Q while mashing W Here you would expect the Q to land where you targeted it, then explode with the W cast and do damage and slow
  3. Watch as the W slows and does damage to whatever you threw your Q at without the ball yet reaching there.

It's been a few patches since I noticed this bug, but I don't play THAT much Ori. So I hadn't been checking if it was patched, but it seems like it's not.

Tested this and I think I see what you're talking about. The issue is that the W size is larger than the ball size and it's registering as being within range as soon as the ball hit box touches the full size hit box of the W. I don't know if this is intended or not to be honest but it's 100% not game breaking.

This is your standard fast burst Ori combo, it's intended.

This isn't at all what I'm talking about; I'm going to make a video to explain it.
