Frequent disconnects beginning this morning

starting today ive been disconnecting frequently throughout any matches of LoL. at first i thought it was a general issue with my internet connection, but every other thing ive tried online is working normally, including other online games. this has made the game unplayable. i have been trying practice games to test if the issue is still present, and every time around the 50 second mark i get "attempting to reconnect" for a few seconds. also, sometimes when i reconnect all of my heroes abilities are unusable, so i have to restart the game
