There's a mastery token bug when you reach level 5 mastery and get an S rank in the same game

When I got to level 5 mastery with Malphite, I got it at the same time I got an S rank and it said I got a token for it.

However when I checked my crafting tab, it wasn't there.

It was confusing to me since it told me such, but I just let it slide and not bother me too much.

However, now again this just happened to me moments ago getting a rank 5 mastery with Alistar and a S grade.

It told me I got the rank 5 mastery, then it told me I got a token as usual. So once again I checked and no alistar token was there.

This happening twice to me can be no coincidence.

Last i checked you didn't get a mastery token if you got 5 and s in the same game. i could be wrong though

You don't get a token and you're not supposed to, but there is a graphical glitch that displays that you get one. I have reported this bug twice and a friend of mine has too but it hasn't been fixed yet.

You are not intended to earn a token the same game you reach level 5 with a champion, only for games afterwards. The notification that pops up says that you are now eligible to earn tokens, not that you have actually earned one.
