Problem with selecting skins in draft pick

I recently queued up for a draft pick game as amumu and i had just bought the surprise party amumu skin the day before and had yet to use it. So the pick and ban portion went normal and i selected amumu and the tab for skins popped up. So I selected my surprise party amumu skin and to make sure i selected it i clicked it about 5 more times because the little golden border is a little misleading when selecting skins. So i closed the tab and was sure i clicked on the skin and i tabbed out to another game. When I got to the loading screen i saw my skin wasnt selected and I was pretty upset.

(Also the golden borders when going through skins in draft pick is a little confusing too)
