Not letting me pick champion.

So I was in the lobby for a ranked game and I was last pick, I waited for their team to finish picking and I got the sound effect and the lobby briefly illuminated like it does when its your turn to pick, but then it all greyed out and would not let me pick a champion and it said that the opposite team was still picking their last champion. So I lost LP and now I have a timer...
