Champion select crash

I went to play a game of draft mode, it told me to select my champion which i attempted to do but as soon as i tried to the client just sorta crashed, i was unable to select any champion. the timer stayed at 0 for like 30 seconds and then the game proceeded to tell me that i dodged and i got hit with a 5 minute penalty. During the period of time that it was "crashed" whenever i tried to select a champ it still played the little audio thing that happens when you click and the various flairs were still animated and working.
