Yasuo's knock up has no stun component so you can still use forced movement abilities (and any other instant cast abilities that can be cast while moving that don't have a wind up(think syndra Q, lissandra W, riven E)) to "cancel" the effect for being a "target" for his ult, but if you are airborne even by your own abilities precisely when the "suspending" effect from his ult applies you will then be included in his ult, she used her jump to negate the "airborne" effect with her own movement ability, hence why it said "must be airborne." Anyone with half decent MS can pull this off inside of 1 game of practice as the timing is quite forgiving (tho the ult suspension from your own abilities is unfortunately also good timing, like when you go to open a car passenger door at the same moment it unlocks, this is a non-complex phenomena on how basic mammalian(including human) processing works (seeing "3 seconds into the future" + "200 nano second delays before reaction can take place" in most reactions and some reflexes misaligning (your timing was "too good" so to speak, in real life this is the same function that allows you to perfectly parry and deflect debris and other dangerous things from contacting you while allowing for waiting till the last possible movement before dodging/deflecting seeing if it will actually hit (as dodging INTO it would be VERY bad and due to the curvature of space and the interaction of gravity (your own mass' attraction/curvation gravity(space warping so to speak from a human's eyes visual perception perspective), but also the repellent effect of your own complex magnetic and electromagnetic fields and local fields you are standing in, and the object hurdling toward you's own interactions + any of the environment's over powering effects, windforce, etc)is VERY likely in practice if you do not wait till the last possible instant, unless you have trained your reflexes and senses well to anticipate and calculate for ALL of these variables accurately and knowledgeably (or intuitively rather) large swathes of distances ahead)). Its one of the main downsides of games (and "compensating" for it can be dangerous as it disables your ability to properly react to incoming dangers in real life practice of object subject avoidance unfortunately)
