Sivir and Dark Harvest Bug

I was playing Sivir on ARAM and I had brought dark harvest thinking I could get easy stacks with my w richochets. I kept bouncing it off the minions but the tune was never consumed. Dark harvest says that it will trigger in any champion damage dealt which should include aa modifiers
