[Gameplay Bug] Mordekaiser's ranged ghost walks in melee range to buildings before attacking them
Hi there, gentlemen and fine ladies.
'Tis my duty today to report this 100% reproductible annoying/gamebreaking/pesky bug with
Mordekaiser's ultimate, Children of the Grave.
When you obtain the ghost of a ranged enemy (like Caitlyn) and order them to attack a building, they will walk up in melee range to said building before attacking (thus losing their range superiority).
Steps to reproduce : Kill a ranged enemy with Mordekaiser's ultimate on them to obtain their ghost, then Alt + Click (or press R) to order them to attack a building. They will walk up to the building in melee range before attacking.
However, it is to be noted that the ghost operates normally otherwise (i.e. they will attack non-building enemy units at a distance if they can).
Issues : You will lose precious seconds while your ghost walks up to the tower (or Nexus !) and that makes it very hard to protect it.
Frequence : I've encountered the issue every time the situation arose. I do not know when the bug appeared, as I've picked up Mordekaiser only recently (a bit after the "rework") and the bug was already there. I clearly remember having no issue before the rework.
How to repair : I'd say look up the ghost attack IA, there must be a special clause with buildings that doesn't run the right way.
