Game unable to connect immediately after Champ Select; including custom game with no other players.

I've been playing LoL for many, many years, and this is the first time such a problem has occurred for me. Immediately after champ select today, my client didn't even minimize or tab out in order to show the LoL logo before fullscreening into the game. It just flat out put me at home, with a big ol' Reconnect button in the middle of the screen that did... well, nothing at all. I couldn't connect, I couldn't load up, nothing. I decided soon after to attempt this with a custom game... and a Practice tool game... And I couldn't connect to ANY of these games. Games where I am alone and there are no other players. So obviously either there was a client bug at the time; a DLL missing; or perhaps just an interaction missing; but no matter what the actual game would not start up and load in. I was forever stuck on the client; and could never get the game itself to load up and begin. Could anyone provide some insight as to how I might fix this problem?
