Irelia's Q on minions

's Q is supposed to reset on last hit, but on minions it will reset without giving gold. This brings up the question; Did I the last hit the minion without receiving gold? or did I miss the last hit on the minion (not receiving gold), but my Q still reset off of it? I have noticed this for over 3+ months and I'm positive others have noted this as well.

THIS IS AN ONGOING BUG WHICH HAS NOT BEEN ADDRESSED. Because is my favorite champion (possibly the name of my first born female child), I would much appreciate it if this would be addressed in some way or another. TY Riot for admitting that this has been a known bug for a long time and will be at the BARE MINIMUM acknowledged in the near future.
