gifting consumed my rp twice even after not letting me gift

today I went to buy my friend a gift, I accidentally gifted it on his old banned account and it said "sorry! the gifting process couldn't be completed" or something. I backed out then went to gift it on his actual account and noticed that it had not only consumed my rp, but wouldn't show up on gifting history but it showed where I had purchased it for his actual account. Is this a bug or did I just get 11$ of RP ripped out of my account. (I'd also like to know if there's a rollback option)
