Had 17 LP and Lost a Game, but got immediately demoted????

I am 100% positive I had 17 LP before I went into this match, otherwise I would have waited for my duo. But I lost a game while in Bronze IV while at 17LP and got immediately demoted to Bronze V. What??? [sg-ahri-1]
