Gameplay Jinx Zap! Particle missing

I was playing against a Jinx and noticed that every time Jinx shot a W out of the bush the particle was totally missing. She'd shoot it and you'd see the flash as she cast it but no particle, just the slow when it hit me or my carry. I thought it was just a ping or fps drop the first couple times, but it kept happening.

It doesn't happen when you're playing Jinx, I tried that. Beyond that it's kind of hard for me to try to reproduce it by myself.
