Does anyone else keep getting these client errors?

I keep getting client errors, and it's really annoying because I can't play a game. I just got penalized for "not selecting the champion" because of this. Even though the client wouldn't let me select a champion and froze on the third ban. This message will pop up 4 or 5 times apologizing for the issue, yet I'm still getting penalties for "dodging". Does anyone know how to fix this?
