Recent Minion Bugs

Hello! I have been noticing a lot recently that sometimes the minions tend to follow you around more than they should. I had an experience yesterday when I ganked bot lane as a jungler, and a minion followed me all the way to the mid lane bushes. The only time I lost it was when a crossed over the enemy minions. Any thoughts as to why this is? If anyone has had a similar experience please share! Thanks!
