[Client] Friend's List In-Game Champs Not Showing

I noticed today that my friends list wasn't showing the champion my friends were playing while they're in game. Image links to follow. Exhibit A! Out of my 7 friends who were online, only one showed the champ they were playing and the only difference, as far as I could tell, was the in-game time. Exhibit B!

Edit: Not sure this matters, but in the first picture I found out he was coincidentally also playing Tristana.
