Yesterday I finally got mastery 5 on tahm and while getting mastery 5 I got an S on that game so I got a mastery 6 token, today I got another mastery 6 token and I was excited to fuse them to create mastery 6 emote but 1 was missing.

No. You only got one total. When you reach mastery 5 it will always show a pop-up detailing mastery 6 however there is no token given as you have to play another game.
Unfortunately, you cannot earn a Mastery 6 token at the same time that you reach level 5; the notification you were shown was saying how you can earn them, not saying that you got one.
if you get s in the same game when you reach mastery 5 you don't get a token
