When the new Swain Ults my FPS drops EVERY SINGLE TIME
Every time he comes onto my screen with an ult its nothing but my champion teleporting or standing still
also was happening to other people on my team

Hello there!
We have a tool that lets us get more detailed performance info from your games. If you add a setting to your game.cfg file.
Cfg file is in C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Config
You will need to add it under the [Performance] section.
LiveProfile=1
If you have that section included in your game.cfg, when you finish a game, it will generate a log that we can use to analyze the performance. You can find that log here: C:\Riot Games\League of Legends\Logs\Performance Logs
With a format like "2017-12-06T22-05-40_PerfDump.rpd"
If you set up that LiveProfile setting and generate any logs like that, we could use them to look more into the issue.
Because your computer is trying to calculate 5 steps ahead and can't keep up...
In order to really deal damage, Swain needs to invest heavily into AP and also basically be on top of you. To help facilitate this, they've balanced him by adding a new passive:
Hamster Wheel The closer Swain gets to the enemy team, the lower their FPS goes. Scaling form 1-18, 15-120 (at 18) FPS drop.
They created a video suggesting counter play such as, "Uncapping your frame rate."
Also in unrelated news, Riot has entered into a partnership with Mac to release a new iMac Pro, "Swain Train" edition. Yours for the low price of $14,999.00. They went with a more "extreme" case than your regular iMac.

I am having frames drop whenever I'm near the guy.[zombie-nunu-tears]
Same thing happening to me. Whenever he's on my screen my fps drops from 80 to ~30 but it feels way worse

Broken champs get through PBE... Then now also performance gets through PBE into live...
What's the point of the PBE again??
Yeah, it's not even when he ults for me. My whole team loses if he's on the enemy team, simply because we cannot go near the guy without dropping to 15 fps
When ever i come next to swain or he uses an ability my fps drops please riot we understand its a rework but why our fps? i mean we are barely playing this game with 50-60 fps please riot fix it.
This happened to me in my ranked promos to Gold 3 and to be honest it was very tilting. I won the game but could not carry because my screen would freeze every time Swain appeared in my vision (even across map). It seems to dial down if you put your graphics settings to 'Low' but even then you have the occasion frame skip. Also I played against him in normals and it wasn't as bad as it was on ranked (I don't know if Riot semi-fixed it) but if you got within a small radius of him your fps would drop regardless of graphic settings. Please fix this or just disable him until a solution is found.
Please fix this it's totally unplayable so my only solution is to ban him every game.. It doesn't happen only when he ult tho, it was making me lag when he was lvl 4.

I played a swain on Twisted Treeline with the white/blue snow skin and little lags, but his particles would make part of the map go blue and white. Rito pls. When he comes into frame still its drags my fps down regardless to where its noticeably choppy
please fix, it's unplayable, i'm going to only play draft and permaban him
hopefully they will fix it soon. this is literally terrible, just lost as vlad to him because any time he would even appear on my screen i would drop to 25 fps
thx for swain support. cause he isnt a carry anymore. When I play the new swain, it really feels like a support gameplay to me and I find it sad

I dont see any fps drop. and I play the game at 250 fps
Same issue here also, i am capped a 120 fps, but when ever i try to walk up to a enemy/allied Swain my fps drops to "15" basically making my games unplayable sadly.

Same here, legit. Not only was my ally swain making me lag but I had one on the enemy team as well, causing me to tilt and almost throw the game because I can't do anything other than spam abilities into where I think they are
I haven't seen or had an fps drop with him In game
Day 2 and he still isn't disabled RIOT I Would love to be able to ban another champ that isn't swain
