Had to uninstall League for an unrelated ussue but when I reinstalled the program I was unable to update to the beta client. Tried uninstall and reinstall 2 more times and it kept telling me that i had to reinstall the alpha client and try again. Been stuck on the alpha client for some time now and been having this issue for over a year now but when beta came out the problem disappeared but now that im back on alpha its back. Not every time but maybe about 1/5 games in champ select the person picking before me always has the timer go down to 0 and then the client freezes when it is my turn to pick, I can still chat with teammates but the counter never goes to me on my screen to let me pick but everyone has said that it was my turn.... I then either get kicked out of the champ select sequence or i have to close the program and relog at which time I am informed that I was the one who dodged and have to serve a 5 minute dodge penalty. This has happened a couple times where it happened back to back so I have to wait 35 min to even get in a game. Not only is this frustrating when trying to play a game but it also affects me while playing ranked which can be a piss off.

Freezing or crashing in champ select then returning to the lobby is usually a result of a failure to establish a stable connection to the servers.

Champ Select in all modes requires a more steady connection than the home page as picks (and bans for Draft) are processed in real-time. This is why it's more vulnerable to disconnect there.

Troubleshoot your connectivity issues.

What about being in game in fullscreen mode and then kicked to my desktop? happens a couple times every game. It is weird because I am always at 40 ping and have a great connection... weird how the champ select issue as well as possibly the full screen problem could be because of bad connection.
