Gangplank Barrel Bug (w/ disconected allies)

I was playing an aram game as renekton, my internet started to throw a random fit for 2 minutes maybe, then when I came back (note: I didn't exit the game during this time) I noticed something weird, I was able to attack gangplank's barrels(I was gaining fury when I did so but no one else commented on it even after I asked the gp if I was hitting his barrel on his end so not sure if it's just a my end thing or not). The barrels didn't do anything when I last hit them and actually stayed there the whole time. Later when I had a phage I noticed I could gain it's on hit move speed off the barrels, so I'm fairly sure I was actually hitting them.
