Thank's for sharing the love Riot. I love you too.

And by "love", I mean "hate". I hate you a lot.

I just spent the past 2 hours downloading a patch, after scanning over 6000 files and downloading the entire thing at a nice 100 kbps or less probably 90% of the time I spent on the download. You should have seen the look on my face when it ended, it was priceless. I felt like crying.

I was overjoyed to finally get into a game, even though our mid locked in as an AD, giving us a full AD team which means the enemy team would inevitably stack Thornmail and Randuins to the high heavens. I didn't care though, I was actually going to PLAY the GAME.

But guess what? No. I fucking wasn't. The moment...the very MOMENT the screen comes up, that familiar black screen that appears before the champion icons appear when everyone is loading comes up...the game crashes. The error message? My installation of League of Legends may be CORRUPTED.

So guess what I had to do? Right! I had to sit through ANOTHER fucking patch, with another ~4000 scanned files, while downloading, once again, at ~100 kbps 90% of the time spent on the download. I have never had trouble with slow downloads before, even with this game; I even updated my Adobe AIR installation when I saw how goddamn slow it was going. It didn't work.

So, that patch finishes after probably another 15-20 minutes and I get back in the game and try to reconnect to my match. I reassured myself, "Okay, the corruption is fixed now, maybe I can play the game". Wishful thinking, but no, the same thing happened: Black screen, crash, only this time there was no error message regarding corruption, or on the 5 other attempts I made to reconnect to your fucking game. So it's safe to conclude that this patch was a huge failure and that even Pando Media Booster was better than this, and that patch 4.18 is a steaming heap of shit.

I can't wait til my team, who may or may not have even made it into the game, report me and get ME fucked over by having my account banned, an account I spent MONEY on, without knowing the sheer stupidity of the situation I am in, which YOUR failed patch created.

Can we expect the computers at Worlds to do this? Having professional players need to painstakingly re-install the game on stage because the patch is corrupted and a huge failure anyway, and then crash whenever they try to launch the fucking client? Because if so, bravo, I'm sure we'll all be in for quite a show.
