so this happened after I updated today... no idea what to do. hextech crafting isn't there, I cant msg friends or even see who is online and I cant look at my runes pages either. help?

Try doing a client repair by clicking the question mark on the top right of your launcher. If that doesn't work, you can try forcing a repatch, which can be done manually following the steps here or automatically using the Hextech Repair Tool found here.
