Riven immune to Aurelions displacement

So I know Riven can be a pain for Aurelion, especially without his ult. But I recorded a game and went back to look at something strange. As Aurelian sol I Q ulted Riven. But it didn't seem to knock her back. After watching the replay in slow motion I saw that she started to get pushed back, but hopped towards me less than halfway through the knock back. She hopped soon enough into the knock back that she was still on top of me.

Is this as intended?

Post video?

But in regards to the question. Yes and no on the intention. Every dash in the game as part of the coding is set up so it's possible to do this. It's almost always 100% luck because of how hard it is to time perfectly. It has to do with how the priority of abilities work with latency to the best of my knowledge
