Not sure what happened but I noticed a few other people in games and a on the boards have noticed the same drop in their FPS without actual ping lag. Just making a thread so that Riot has a better gauge on how many people it could be affecting.
edit: for reference, I already play on low-spec mode and have the client closed during games etc. but i'm still dropping to 02~07 FPS during fights.
yea its not fair perfect 34 ping and dysinc constantly making me lose my lane and stuff !!!!!!!!!!!! grr
not to mention i thought it was my pc trng to fiddle with everything.....
same. i got huge lag spikes and frame drops and then eventually i got Disconected but the in game voicechat was still working for my party. I could hear them talking and everything and they could hear me. then reconnected and repeated itself a few times every 5 minutes or so - till we lost the games - also note that I usually play with above 100fps and I have a pretty good graphics card so it shouldn't be that
I am having the same issue and it happened to me alittle while go and I Figured out what it is, League is dealing with Packet Loss and i don't know why, I reset my Router and Modem and everything became fine for like 10mins of the game then it started to Desync a bit i would lag in game with just having 31 Ping and my Fps wouldn't Drop either according to the status on the top right (FPS & Ping). So hopefully Riot reads up on this because there is a lot of people having this problem and thank god it only happened once in my ranked game i got disconnected and came back and we won but still its Annoying and scary to deal with because you don't know when its going to happen
Happens to me to. FPS will be perfectly fine then randomly dip into like 2-5 fps for a few seconds. It's so annoying. Have had people say they are getting the issue in game too.
I'ts happening to me too. What I noticed is that if I check my CPU activity it's usage spikes to 100% at random points of the game and then it goes back to normal after a few seconds or even minutes. Weird thing here is that it just started happening today, yesterday it was working just fine.

This issue appears to effect me as well. However, I am running a high-end PC and thus have no valid reason why my FPS should dip so sharply.
I have problems like this too, and I think only players with 32-bit operating system are included
I had the same problem also during spectating game I had random low fps but my problem has been solved due to razer synapse program, they told me that this is causing the problem right now and they are already working on fix, now what will help is to close that app...so just in case if you are using razer synapse turn it off.
I've noticed this as well ever since the April fools patch. The in-game client just sucks up more resources.
I have the same problem. FPS drops to 10~20 during fights.
