Aurelion Sol and Braum Bug

Normally when Braum uses his E, he is still affected by the CC that is associated with the ability that hit him (Leona E, Morgana Q, etc). However, if you hit Braum (with his E up) with Aurelion Sol's Q, there is no CC applied. This occurs when just letting the q detonate by itself on him, manually detonating it on him, and both of those while using Aurelion Sol's E in conjunction. I understand that it should block the damage if its the first ability that hits him, but it should still apply the CC
