I've seen Vi get knocked back during her ult a few times in the past couple of games I've played. One was a Syndra E knocking her back and another was Vayne's condemn.
In the codemn instance the damage still went through and the CC occurred, but with Syndra she wasn't damaged and she wasn't CC'd.

TheLastShadow451 votesIs may say she can't be cc'd and they really need to update this but the only thing that doesn't stop her while ulting are stuns. Roots, knock ups, knock backs and suppressions will stop her.

Shyvauni2 votesEven with the wording on that one Roots, knock ups and suppresses should not stop her when her ult starts. She can not be stopped, end of story. Any time she is cced mid ult is a bug thus the op was correct in reporting it as such.

Shyvauni2 votesDo you have any Idea how long it took riot to fix most skill shots that while passing through enemy hit boxes were not acting as if they hit?
Or the bug with Aatrox where his passive on W was procing more often then it should?
Or the Lissandra bug with her ult? Some bugs take longer to fix as they have to find where in the coding the problem lies and this is not always readily obvious.

This was their words, "It's hard for Vi to engage on someone when either Alistar or thresh is nearby since they each have two ways to stop her ult." I don't remember which game this was exactly but it was during the summer split.
Shyvauni2 votesAt which point it is a recent change or they just decided to accept that as is when she first released and had weird bug issues with her ult and Skarner's ult. Which ironically is not an issue anymore.
Just like when the Aatrox bug happened during an LCS game they did not say it was a bug until there was a massive outcry from the community.
TheLastShadow451 votesIt's been like that since I started playing. Which was when Lissandra first came out(season 3). They only thing that didn't work on her that should have was suppressions. They changed that mid season 4.
Shyvauni2 votesJust like Skill shots like Ez Ult, Nid Spears etc did not always hit champions they passed through when I first started. This did not stop it from being a bug. Also the can not be stopped means can not be stopped. Now had they included an "except by". The issue with suppressions was that she could cast her ult while suppressed they were never supposed to stop her mid ult.
Otherwise Id be happy! I am a leona main and I can gurantee not all roots stop her ult as Leona's root does not. So trust me it is a bug and one that just most do not care about given how infrequently vi is used these days.
