The remake system needs improvement

Had a ranked game tonight. Our jungler afked from the beginning and he never came back. However, the system didn't allow us to remake. It said "/Remake is only available when one or more players fail to connect to the game." This is nonsense and unfair for us to play a 4v5 game and losing lp. Please improve the system.
