Little Legends bug

I don't know if I'm the only one this has happened too, but I purchased a little legends bundle. and as I was opening I got a Lunar Claw Hauntling 1-Star. After 2 eggs, I opened a 3-Star Lunar Claw Hauntling, but the 2-star is still locked. I was under the impression it was a progression system and to get 3-Star you needed a 2-Star.
