[GAMEPLAY] Skuttle Crab does damage if you're standing on the centre of its move speed area
I was just playing a game and near Baron pit I killed the Skuttle Crab. By sheer luck I was standing right on the central point of the speed buff where the two little antenna things stick up and started to recall as it moved into position. Team around me were all recalling and after a few seconds I noticed I wasn't going anywhere but was taking damage at a rate of about 40 - 50 a second. I stared for a few minutes not realising what had happened but moved away with about 400 HP left.
Some answers to likely comments. No Baron wasn't attacking me. Only my team were around me. No debuffs or DoT spells were affecting me.
It was late game and I was getting vision near Baron. I was playing Syndra and that's about it really. I had no idea what was going on initially and was confused why I wasn't recalling until I saw my health dropping. For completeness the speed buff kept being reapplied to me then instantly dropping so I was watching that before I noticed my health.
Steps to reproduce are not a guarantee as I've only had it happen this one time and imagine it would require pretty precise positioning to check.
- Kill Skuttle Crab
- Stand at the middle point where the speed boost will appear before it gets there
- Try not to die to odd damage
