Client Issues

Periodically without any signs my client starts acting up in several ways. One way is that it takes forever to find a game and then i can't cancel searching i have to close the whole client. Another issue is that in champ select the clock will tick down to zero for another summoner and then stay frozen there and eventually i get kicked for not choosing a champion when i can't tell it's my turn. Lastly, if i am searching for a game sometimes it will find a game but then i can't get into the game and get yelled at for not accepting. All of these issues can only be fixed by restarting my computer and it becomes annoying. Any fixes? I am running client in low-spec mode.
