Bug concerning Skill shot spells going through champions

Twice now ive had a skill shot go through a champion. Direct hits not doing any damage and simply going through them like it missed.

The first time it happened was when i was blitz. I had threw out a Q at a pantheon and it went right through him. Everyone in teh game was laughing, wondering what had happened cause it clearly went right through him.

The second time was with my Braum. I had shot a Q at a zed that was running away. It also went right through him without hitting him. I asked him if he saw what what i saw. That Zed also noticed it went through him.

The only things those two things have in common that i can tell is they were both running away. and they had both flashed just recently after i attempted to hit them with something about a good second and a half after the flash.

see, the thing is, there is a camera angle. It's something that Riot has noted themselves as to the possible reason why blue team has advantage overrall. as red team, the enemy champions look closer, when actually they arent. blue team generally has a better orientation. however, i personally prefer the red side.

a lot of champions that are tall, or floating, i find myself missing them more often. for example, so many times i have missed a velkoz with my super mega death rocket or zap, because i aim at his head. no thanks to the camera angle, shooting at the top of a champion actually means you are shooting next to him. it missed regardless of it visually going through the champion's model.

its not as exaggerated as i make it sound, but it does exist.
