Ezreal's W absorbs allies Banshee's Veil

While in a game a few moments ago i used my W to charge up my teams Cho gath while he was fighting the raptors and i saw his Banshee's Veil turn off. Not sure if the raptors consumed it but he took several other hits before I used Essence Flux.
