I play league pretty casually and sit at about silver three ranked and just wanted to know why my prior league game had a challenger on the enemy team? I understand If they were due queuing but seeing as the team was mostly golds wouldn't the elo be higher or is the match making that busted/a bug?
Ranked mmr is completely different to normal mmr.
If the challenger hasnt played normal much and is pre with a silver then its entirely possible they match with you.
Mmr, challenger players play more ranked and barely any normals, so their normal game mmr is low.
I'm plat 4 in solo, but i've played over 3x the amount of normals and have diamond mmr in normal games.
