[GAMEPLAY] Yasuo Windwall not stopping Vel'koz's E?

I really wish I had something recording at the time of this during my ranked game today. But I know that Yasuo's Windwall blocks all and any incoming projectile based abilities/autos. With that being said, Vel'koz's E is an AoE BUT technically he fires projectiles to the effected area, with that it should be blocked. Today I noticed that an enemy Yasuo threw up his Windwall while I fired my E, by all technicalities it should just stop the projectile in it's path that is fire, and while he took NO damage, he did still get technically knocked up.

Game bug? I'm not sure, does it interact differently if you fire and windwall blocks half the projectile or something? This is something I'm thoroughly curious about if anyone can fill in or seen this in action.

If I can get a recording of this happening, I'll post it here!

Vel'koz E isn't a projectile. It originates on the ground, "Vel'Koz causes an area to explode, knocking up enemies, and knocking close enemies slightly away."(same idea as getting hit by Nunu's ult)

I too agree. It clearly says that Vel'koz HURLS(throws) an anomaly. I do think they originally meant it to not be blocked because it seems that he just wiggles his arms and the earth explodes in the targeted area, however they should change it because it makes it clear that it is a projectile being thrown in his skill description. Good eye , I wouldn't have seen that unless someone pointed it out :D

If anyone else has experienced this, please post here and if you have video that'd be helpful, again I'm going to try to get video.

The tool tip is the issue - not the ability. It's not a missile as it (the ability and its channel) originates at the target location just like Cho'Gath's Rupture (Q) or Swain's Nevermove (W).

So all in all I guess I answered my own question but is Riot going to leave this be? Or is it meant to be like that? Riot clarification FTW plz?

how far was yasuo standing from his wall?

if hes right behind it, I could imagine the wall stopped projectile , but knockup was casted right there and yasuo still got knocked up since its an aoe knockup

dunno though , if the projectile actually traveled a distance from the wall and knocked u up still then yes, it sounds like a bug
