Player dodged with 8 seconds but game started anyway

Our jungler didn't get the role they wanted, so they picked and decided to dodge with eight seconds left in the final countdown. This prompted a message in the lobby that the player had left, but the countdown continued.

The game loaded 4v5 and naturally we couldn't pull together and win the game, and even though we were only down seven kills we decided to surrender.

I e-mailed support, but they just sent me a canned response about how they can't change match history. That's not even what I want.

I want Riot to investigate why the game didn't drop us back into the queue after the player dodged.

This is a serious problem, and I definitely want it looked into. When I dodge, I do it to AVOID losing a bunch of LP (I realize this isn't ranked, but the bug may exist there, too). That needs to work.

This happend to me once a few months ago when I made a custom lobby. I realized I put me and my friend on the 3s map when I wanted to put us on the aram map. I dodged out with a few seconds left but it sent him in anyway without me.

Luckily it was just a custom game though, but it was my lobby... which makes it make even less sense.

i'm really sick of god damn cheap ass video game tech supports. i think i only had a single company actually read my email when they responded, it was blizzard i think.

god forbid riot, who makes over 6 billion a year, can teach their outsourced customer support to read the fucking email before hitting ctrl+v

ive had champ selects where I had like 40 seconds to pick something and at 20 seconds it would take me out of champ select and count it as a dodge

Probably not a bug but should be fixed for clarity. Has happened to me when I dodge when I have to leave.

This also happened to me just yesterday. We had a Soraka support that left a couple seconds before, but the game still started. We were actually doing OK, ahead in kills and everything, but then the same Soraka reconnects and tries to persuade us to surrender as she has to reconnect. When we say no, she goes out and dances/taunts until the enemy team gets fed on her and wins the game.

For a game that has been out for over six years now, running on seven, Riot has the worst game client I've seen. It hasn't been updated for as long as I can remember, and that is not a good thing. A serious issue here.

I had this bug yesterday

It gave me a leaver penalty but as you can see NO AFK GAMES IN HISTORY then today I get 2 games in a row with an afk peice of shit and a 300+ mmr under me first pick. it was glorious rofl.
