Can't open chat box

I was typing in chat when my chat box randomly closed in the middle of what I was typing and now I can't open my chat box at all. When I tab out, there's a drop down menu that has the options to "back, forward, view source, or print" and the box won't go away unless I click on an option. If I accidentally click where the box is, even though I can't see it with a game open, my game tabs out. My friend is also having this exact same bug. The curse is also not the usual league cursor and it's my normal cursor when in game. Resetting the league client did not fix the issue.

I also just noticed I can't ping different things either, I can only use Danger, On The Way, Assist Me, and Missing from hot keys now, I can't ping from the ping menu pressing G.
