Champion selection ranked crashed

Hello all, Recently I have tried to play a ranked game and during the champion selection my client crashed. Soon after that I received a penalty (only a 5 min one). Now the reason for my concern is that the client has never crashed before this previous patch. Please look into why the client is crashing.

It's been happening to everyone. I'm not really sure why they haven't fixed this problem yet. I'm sure thousands have lost LP due this bug including myself.

This is so depressing... but luckily its not only me... already lost so much lp on this
