Sidebar of new client vanishes when moved

Yeah I don't understand this bug, if I move the client window or even sometimes just click off of it the sidebar with Friends & such vanishes. Even costed me a game because I couldn't save my Masteries then lock in a Champ because the side bare with "Accept Masteries changes" vanished to.
