Mid-Year mage update page literally crashed my computer..

I went to the midyear mage update page to see what's up, and it froze my entire computer for 5 mintues until everything finally loaded, which is surprisingly considering my computer runs and loads websites perfectly. The more I scrolled down, it lagged with scrolling more and more until my entire computer went black screen, literally the whole thing, and just overheated and shutdown on me. My computer turned back on and I'm currently running a virus scan to see what the hell just happened. I'd suggest not going to the mid-year mage update page if your computer can't process things well.. cause mine can and it crashed..Never had this issue before.
