Unintentionally leaving champion select

Queued up for ARAM and whilst in champion select, I was cycling through my skins and half the screen disappeared. Could still see Rune page but no champions (mine or my teams) then a few seconds later it closes.

"You have left during champion select. You have been returned to the lobby."

I hope this doesn't count against me as I have never left a game...
