Buffer games for demotion didn't apply :(

So today I got demoted immediately upon hitting 0 lp with no buffer games to keep me from demoting. I had gone on a nice winning streak, got promoted to silver 3 (wow!! impressive, I know) then upon getting there, I won a couple, lost a couple, lost another, hit 0 for the first time this rank and then was demoted. Not just me, but me and my buddy I was queuing with both got dropped right away.

From my understanding and experience, you get a 3-ish game buffer upon hitting 0 lp to keep you from demoting right away regardless if you've won and lost some games in your new rank. I got no buffer game, once I hit 0 and lost I was gonezo and it took us both by surprise.

There's nothing to be done about the lost lp or anything but something definitely went wrong and it sucks when I just happened to hit a minor losing streak lol. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]
