Problem with my mini-map movement

When playing with a locked screen and attempting to click on my mini-map to check stuff out, i have to long hold my left mouse button and wait a second or two before my screen goes to where I'm clicking. It doesn't work instantly and is obviously bugging. I'm not sure what caused this, but it randomly started this week and has persisted.

When playing unlocked, this doesn't happen. So I can just play unlocked, but I find it annoying that I am restricted to this. Any suggestions for how to fix? I'm considering putting all my settings to default to see if it helps, but if there's another fix I'd like to try that first to save the trouble of redoing settings.
