I'm experiencing a bug as Thresh in bottom lane when Relic Shield
and subsequent items are only intermittently executing minions for the heal. While last hitting minions will produce the heal, the items execute effect isn't happening
I submitted this a long time back and was told it wasn't a bug but the fact that Thresh wasn't considered melee so the item would always be conflicting with him.
The execute is for melee auto attacks not ranged. And thresh is ranged.
This is the reason Thresh is the only Ranged support to use this item. It shouldn't be much trouble with his Flay's extra damage, but you will not get the execute effect since Thresh isn't melee. Read the item description, it says it only works for melee.
Was this a recent change? Why did they only have this effect for melee?
I see it all the time and it works only when Thresh is within melee 'range' of a minion. So if he's max range auto from a minion it won't proc. If he's beside it it works fine. Go create a custom game with a friend and test it.
