Gragas Q Unusable?

So I was playing League yesterday in matchmaking, as Gragas jungle, I really enjoyed playing him and this game was a little weird. When I was around level 10 or so I used my q at the Blue side Gromp, and it disappeared, at first I thought that I had thrown it over the wall but because I suck but it didn't detonate, I then tried clicking q again and it did nothing. I checked my keyboard and changed the bind if it was a problem with my keyboard but it still wouldn't work. Then I tried clicking on it with my mouse and the description was this: Click Here ^^ I currently had 4 points into the my q, 4 in my w, and 1 in everything else. I wasn't able to use my q for the rest of the game, I tried leaving and joining again and dying but that didn't change anything. I find jungle really fun, and I want to keep using my q in other games, so please rito, don't fail me.
