League crashes upon victory/defeat screen

The last few patches have caused some weird issue where the game sometimes crashes at the victory or defeat screen. It will make the standard windows error sound and become completely unresponsive. The only way to actually get out of that league match is to either restart your PC, or press ctrl,alt,delete and sign out, as alt+f4 does not work and task manager will also not open. It's not a huge deal as the game plays fine up until the ending screen, but having to sign out of my PC and sign back in, logging into client over and over, after a while gets annoying.

Bump... got the same exact problem ever since patch 8.12.. tried hextech repair tool tried reinstalling didn't do anything weird...getting really annoying having to restart pc after every single game

I'm currently having this issue in about 10% of my games. Total freeze as the word Victory/Defeat is forming at the end of a game, looks like someone paused my screen, it does not crash out. Cannot get out of this via ctrl+alt+del because League somehow stays ontop of the OS screen layers and won't let me bring another application to the front, so I cannot operate the task manager once its opened. My only option is to power cycle my PC. This is occurring on a brand new 2019 XPS gaming PC using Windows 10.
